Tour Overview

This 8 Days Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater Safari. Tour will take you through the Northern Safari Circuit in Tanzania. Primarily, you will be visiting Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1 :

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

Pick up from Hotel in Nairobi, meet the rest of your group. For those with payment balance clear first. After safari briefing we depart for Nakuru through the dramatic Great Rift Valley.

We shall pick our lunch boxes at the hotel and proceed to Lake Nakuru with picnic lunches for a half day game drive in the Rhino sanctuary which is home to a colony of about 25 white and black Rhinos. Predators are also resident in the Park.

Day 2 :

Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara

After breakfast, we drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino.

Lunch at our Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park’s are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles.

Day 3 :

Maasai Mara Full day

The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.

During our stay, we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

Day 4 :

Maasai Mara - Serengeti

Early breakfast, depart for Isebania border where after finalization with customs you will shift vehicles and driver guide and proceed to Serengeti. This is a very long driver day with no game drives and you will arrive late in the evening at campsite.

Day 5 :

Serengeti Full Day Tour

After breakfast, carry lunch boxes and enjoy a day in Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch inside the park.

Day 6 :

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

Early cup of tea or cocoa, head for your last game drive in Serengeti before returning to camp for a hot brunch and checking out. Later, proceed to Ngorongoro, where the evening and night will be spent on the Crater Rim.

Day 7 :

Ngorongoro - Manyara Region

After breakfast, carry packed lunches and head to Ngorongoro Crater for your 6 hour game drive with picnic lunch inside the crater. Later proceed to Mto wa Umbu, Lake Manyara region where you will spend the night.

Day 8 :

Lake Manyara - Arusha

After breakfast, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for your half day game drive. See buffalo, giraffe, zebra and many more species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall.

Later we head back to Arusha where the safari ends.
