What are the two most famous wildlife parks in the world? The Masai Mara and the Serengeti. Facing each other across their international border, you can witness the millions of wildebeests of the Great Migration herding from the vast plains of the Serengeti in Tanzania over to the green rolling hills of Kenya’s Masai Mara.

You can also visit the great snow-capped form of Mt Kilimanjaro just beyond the Tanzania border framing large families of elephants in Kenya, at Amboseli National Park.

And nothing compares with the numbers of big cats in the Masai Mara except perhaps the incredible density of lions you’ll find descending into Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater.
